With the approval of the Company's Board of Management, and as part of its ongoing efforts to promote revolutionary traditions, foster positive values, and inspire patriotism among young employees, the Youth Union of Ngan Luc Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (NIAD) organized a film screening of "Echoes Across the Ocean" on August 4, 2026.
Set in Con Dao Prison during the period from 1945 to 1954, the film vividly portrays the lives of revolutionary soldiers imprisoned under harsh and brutal conditions. Despite enduring torture, chains, and relentless oppression, they never lost faith in Vietnam's independence and freedom. Secretly, they shared revolutionary songs, words of encouragement, and dreams of a reunified nation. These "echoes" became a powerful source of spiritual strength, enabling them to overcome suffering and continue their struggle for the homeland.
The screening not only provided a deeply moving and reflective experience but also helped participants gain a deeper appreciation of the immense sacrifices made by previous generations. It reminded them to cherish the peace and independence enjoyed today.
Every scene serves as a meaningful reminder to the younger generation of their responsibility to preserve and promote the nation's patriotic traditions, pursue noble ideals, continuously learn and grow, and contribute to society in a manner worthy of the sacrifices made by those who came before them.
