Heating the highlands

As a cherished annual tradition, the leadership and staff of Ngan Luc Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (NIAD) once again joined forces to organize a charity program for underprivileged children in mountainous areas. Traveling nearly 300km, the charity group reached elementary and junior high school students at Mo De Ethnic Boarding Primary and Junior High School in Mu Cang Chai, Yen Bai. The children's lives here are extremely difficult and deprived; many lack even warm clothing. In the spirit of mutual support and compassion, the charity group brought warm jackets, blankets, and some dried food and snacks, hoping to provide some assistance to the children. The fatigue from the long journey was dispelled by the radiant smiles on the children's faces. Below are some images from this meaningful charity trip:
